Virtual sports are fully computer-generated sports simulations. A random number generator (RNG) determines the result of each match or race, and that result is then presented to viewers through animation or 3D graphics. Real pitches, real players and real weather play no part here.
Each event finishes within a few minutes and a new betting window opens before the next event begins. That means whether it is the middle of the night or the middle of the day, a new match or race is always ready.
One important point to understand: because results are entirely RNG-based, in-play or live betting does not apply here. Bets must be placed before the match starts — once an event is underway, no new bets can be added. This is a different experience from the live markets in cricket betting.
